A Message from your City Clerk
The State of California has made changes in how the November 3, 2020 election will be conducted this year.
All active registered voters will be mailed a ballot by the County elections department, but in person voting options will continue to exist.
This year, the only local item on your ballot is Measure P, the Exeter Local Control/Essential Services Measure. For more information on Measure P, click here ( link to www.cityofexeter.ca.gov/MeasureP). Official ballot documents are also below.
Voting changes this year:
- All registered voters should be receiving a vote-by-mail ballot, beginning the week of October 5, 2020
- If you have not received a vote-by-mail ballot, or need a replacement ballot, contact the Tulare County Registrar of Voters at: (559) 624-7300 or www.tularecoelections.org.
- The last day to register to vote to have a ballot mailed to you is October 19, 2020. After October 19, registrants must go to a precinct location office or the county registrar to register and vote.
How to return your ballot or vote in person:
- Registrants can pick up a voter registration card In Exeter:
Exeter City Hall: 137 N F Street. Hours: Monday-Friday 10am-2pm. - Voters can return ballots via mail, dropbox locations, or poll site locations anywhere in Tulare county, including Exeter. Exeter City Hall is a dropbox location.
- Exeter dropbox location: Exeter City Hall: 137 N F Street.
- Beginning October 31, 2020 Poll Site locations will be open for in-person voting.
Exeter’s poll site will be at Exeter Memorial: 324 N. Kaweah Ave.
