Completed applications must be submitted to the Exeter City Clerk by Friday, November 20, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Applications can be submitted in person to City Administration at 100 N. F St.in Exeter California or via email to the City Clerk at fquintana@exetercityhall.com.
Important Notice – Proposed Residency Requirement:
The City Council is considering Ordinance No. 722, which would amend Exeter Municipal Code Section 2.16.010 to require Planning Commissioners to reside within the City of Exeter Urban Development Boundary (UDB) at the time of appointment and throughout their service. The UDB includes the City limits and certain surrounding areas. A commissioner who later moves outside the UDB would no longer be eligible to serve. This requirement has been formally initiated by the City but remains subject to final City Council adoption and its effective date. Applicants are encouraged to review the attached UDB map and contact the City Clerk if unsure whether their residence qualifies.
