Tulare County Environmental Health is hosting a Free Household Hazardous Waste Clean‑Up Event right here in Exeter. This is a great opportunity for residents to safely dispose of items that can’t go in regular trash.

You may drop off the following items at no cost:
Aerosol cans, automotive fluids & batteries, garden chemicals/pesticides, gasoline, household cleaners, poisons, paints, pool chemicals, solvents, used motor oil & filters, antifreeze, fluorescent lamps/tubes, and household batteries.

⚠️ Not accepted: agricultural, laboratory, or business waste; explosives; radioactive materials; bio‑waste; asbestos.

By law, individuals may transport no more than 15 gallons or 125 pounds of hazardous waste.
