Start construction

Street Work Notification

Beginning Tuesday 2/1/25 Talley Oil, Inc. will be filling cracks and potholes as part of the City of Exeter’s Crack seal and Associated Pothole Patching Project.

Crack seal is used to seal the roadway and protect it from water penetrating the existing surface. The material cures almost immediately; however, we will ask that no traffic be allowed on the material until it has fully cured, or we have applied a detack material to ensure tracking does not occur.

Pothole repairs will require temporary lane closures as they are filled and compacted, unrestricted travel will be allowed after completion.

Businesses and homes fronting the project will be allowed access throughout the duration of construction with minor exceptions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly as possible.

Streets that are to receive treatment will have “No Parking” signs placed along the street at least 72 hours in advance of the work. These signs will have specific dates and times that all street parking will be restricted. If work does not occur on the specified date, it will be rescheduled for a different date.

Please be advised that any cars parked within the posted area on the days of scheduled work will be towed at the owner’s expense.

All crack sealing and pothole repairs will take place between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm. There will be barricades, flagmen, and other workers directing traffic to ensure the safe passage of all citizens, and safety of our workers. Please expect some road closures, delays, and choose alternate routes of travel if possible.
